Ahead of the August Bank Holiday weekend, An Garda Síochána and the Road Safety Authority (RSA) published a road safety progress review, covering the period January 1 – July 29, 2019. The media briefing took place in Store Street Garda Station on Thursday 1 August at 11.00am.
The review provided details of road fatalities up to July 29, 2019, analysed by road-user group, age and location, and will identify where increases and reductions in road fatalities have taken place, as well as at risk groups.
